American safer drug use website, providing intelligent information on how drugs work (and why more importantly they sometimes don't).

Especially recommended to anyone who takes recreational drugs, is the "This is Your Brain On Ecstasy" slideshow (click on the picture of your brain on ecstasy, to the right, to take you straight there). It took me a couple of readings before it clicked (to paraphrase Star Trek's Dr. McCoy, "I'm a dancer, not a biochemist"), but will go to explain many of the anecdotal stories you hear about drug use. Something to show your kids or your parents, this could save more lives than the knee-jerk reactions of the authorities whenever they hear the word 'drugs'.

Becoming increasingly political, as it highlights the injustices levelled against partygoers in the US, the Dance Safe site is presumably frightening the authorities in the USA, and for that we can only be grateful. Not for the hypocritical.
